Hydrographic ReportBob Waugh receives an Award of RecognitionAward for Career Achievement Bob Waugh of Fugro BTW, New Plymouth was recognised (December 2006) for his contribution to hydrography over a sustained period. A comment from Bob's nomination reads as follows "Bob Waugh has given 30+ years of service to hydrography. He has been a leading innovator in the field of hydrography in NZ and abroad. Bob has lead hardware and software developments utilising new technology's to provide cost effective services for a wide range of clients such as government agencies and oil and gas cliental. Bob Waugh has played a large part in the successful implementation of a hydrographic bursary offered by Fugro NZ. It is thanks to the groundwork of BobWaugh that so many young New Zealand hydrographers are finding rewarding employment in hydrography."
